April is National Poetry Month and I challenged myself to write at least one new poem every day! I will be posting a selection of these poems here. If you are interested in reading more, please contact me.
Seeking Avalon (2013)
The withered hills crumble and dust the sea
A rippling dance without song
Isles of men perch lightly
Awaiting a call from beyond
And still we fear…
The grass falls down and the leaves grow up
The lake’s in the trees and the sky’s in the seas
And we all seek Avalon
Annwfn lures and calls us
Tales of long days and long nights
Remember the air of the harp
As it sings of noble eternity
And we all seek Avalon
